Who doesn’t like eating cauliflower?

Cauliflower belongs to the family Brassicaceae and it is an annual plant that reproduces by seed. The head of cauliflower resembles broccoli is known. Cauliflower has many nutrients like vitamin A, B and C, folate plus minerals like potassium, magnesium, iron, calcium etc. Intake of cauliflower can provide us with many health benefits is a well known fact. By eating this vegetable we could get protection against many diseases as inflammation would get reduced. In addition, we could get choline that is needed by our body plus a few others etc. Bitter truth is that cauliflower must be noted that cauliflower cannot be consumed by everybody.

Those persons with the below mentioned health issues who must not eat cauliflower are

Persons with issue of gas and bloating:

 It is worth mentioning here that persons with issues like gas, bloating etc must not consume cauliflower or must eat in limited amounts only. The reason is that cauliflower has got carbohydrates and this could increase the problems associated with digestion. It is true that after eating cauliflower vegetables or paratha there could be issues with gas and bloating etc.

Persons with thyroid issues:

Thyroid issue could increase if a person with thyroid issue eats cauliflower. It must be noted that eating cauliflower would reduce the ability of the thyroid gland to use iodine leading to issues. By consuming cauliflower, the levels of T3and T4 hormones would get affected. Hence, persons with thyroid issues must avoid cauliflower or eat them as little as possible.

Persons with gallbladder and kidney stones:

Those persons with gallbladder stones and kidney stones must not eat cauliflower. The calcium present in the cauliflower could increase the issue of stones and make it uncomfortable. So, please be careful.

Persons with blood clotting issue:

It must be taken into account that persons who have blood clotting issues must never eat cauliflower. Blood in the body would get thickened due to the presence of potassium in the cauliflower

Persons who are pregnant:

Pregnant mothers must avoid eating cauliflower as it could lead to many issues in them. They could get issues like gas, acidity, indigestion etc.
